At this point in time, I think we need voter ID laws. Not for any racist reasons, but to keep the various constituencies from cheating during elections.

some argue it's too expensive for someone to have a valid id and that negatively affects minorities more therefore it's racist to implement.

I just looked it up.

Canada population density is 3 per sq. mile.

US population density is 84 per sq. mile.


If Canada wants the 800,000 Dreamers, I say we let them have them.


/e In 1790 the US population density was 4.5 per square mile.

Canada has already offered to take the Dreamers. I'm just providing the why of it.
As for other countries, except the muslim countries, if they want to legally immigrate, it's fine by me.

I don't think the US should volunteer to overload our country, just because other countries have. I'm sure the US can handle a few more legal immigrants. But we need to start slimming down the numbers.
I have no idea what the magic number of people per square miles is, but I don't think the US should go over that number.

the usa has a lot more habitable land than canada
