No, it pays to have control over who enters your lands and countries. Ask the Romans, the Armenians, and American Indians about how important this is. Don't be fooled by numbers either. They're expecting what, roughly one million for 2015? Well what happens if one or more million come the next year, and the next? I could always be wrong, maybe things will subside. But why should they? When you have politicians and brainwashed liberals essentially holding up signs stating "Refugees welcome!", why should they stop coming? Some people like to blame all of this on big, bad, evil American foreign policy. Perhaps the war serves as some catalyst to a degree, but even without the war they'd still be coming. It's EU policy, which dictates: anyone fleeing poverty will not be rejected. That policy can apply to billions of people around the world. It's like feeding bears or squirrels. There's a reason why they tell people not to do it. Once they get an impression they're welcome and you won't resist, they'll keep coming back, and potentially more of them each time.
Don't forget these people generally don't practice responsible birth control either. They trend to reproduce at a far greater rate. Contrary to popular belief, an aging population is
not a bad thing, it's a sign that a society is stabilizing. This bullshit that "population growth, population growth, rah-rah! more people! population growth!" is such foolish poppycock. You see a lot of this crap from advocates of illegal immigration here in the US, too.
I'm also sick and tired of people calling these people "refugees".

Dick move by the camera woman, by the way. Refugees don't run from authorities. Notice they're not in a hurry to get to other countries like, say.... Russia or Saudi Arabia. That's because they know Europe is weak with political correctness; they know Europeans are afraid to turn them away because mindless drones like duffman316 will enter the fray with redundant crap "blah blah blah, racism, blah blah you hate brown people" to squelch any reasonable opposition and discussion. So tired of the race card being played that it no longer even bothers me. Go on, call me a racist, I don't even give a fuck, I'll just agree with you.
http://s11.postimg.org/vbyreb7n7/refugee_path.jpgThe wealthy gulf nations aren't taking any in. They're not in any hurry to get to Russia or India. They're perfectly safe in other countries like Turkey. But no, no they keep valiantly marching onwards to those socialist promised lands. They're after all that butter, those succulent welfare nations. Almost reminds me of the first crusades. Dark ages Europe was basically a shithole, rampant war, famine, and religious extremism. Suddenly, the lowly European peasants up and moved to the "promised lands", the more civilized Arabian and muslim lands.
I don't know whether to laugh or cry for Europeans, particularly the recipient countries like Germany or Sweden. It's like their medias have all brainwashed them into assuming the position over a barrel to allow themselves to get fucked in their collective asses. The way the media is handling this nothing short of manipulative propaganda. As I mentioned before, look for un-edited footage of these "refugees". The media has a hard-on for cherry-picking heart-tugging photos and stories such as the drowned Syrian boy; a boy who was perfectly safe in Turkey, by the way, until his parents decided to become
economic migrants and endangered him.
I feel sorry for people like you that feel no empathy, that worry only about themselves and the tiny little circle that they've drawn around themselves. You see weakness in the countries that are heroically taking in record numbers of refugees, yet you are in a tiny selfish minority. Most of the world looks upon them as the examples of selfless giving that all of us can aspire to.
Tell me what good are all of the goods we acquire if we store it all away and then look out the window and watch our neighbors starve to death? What kind of monsters do we become when do just do nothing. There is injustice in non-action we have a responsibility as human beings to not let fellow human beings perish.
