seems pointless when they wont be under your supervision all the time

how about spending time with them , not just to play ball ,etc
but to become a role model of moral and ethical influence
to instill values not based upon " because i said so " , but upon reason

and to realize that curiosity is the nature of the primate
and to emphasize moderation , that its ok to experiment , to partake , but that gluttony , and indulgance , are counter-productive ( again , based on reason , not authority )

that is asking a lot of parents that largely do what they do because of tradition haha.

But as a psych major, i completely agree.

If certain people see porn as a bad thing, it's up to them as parents to teach their morals/beliefs to their children, the government shouldn't be involved in these types of situations.
Next thing you know, people will be making the argument that sex for anyone under 18 should be illegal.

Well the two examples were prostitution and burglary. People do not consent to being burgled. This was addressed already.
