This is so strange to me. Why wouldn’t a sitting president at least go on camera have a news conference to announce this? It’s kind of A big deal passing on the baton, why is the whole ordeal so tortured and outside typical norms we’d expect.

Don't know, either Biden is alive and they want to make everything to the public suspicious as possible.

Or Biden is Dead, and they are trying to hide him like they did to RBG, and Diane Feinstein, you know so they can save Kamala making history until after she's elected.
either way this is the 3rd time this situation has bit them in the ass over the past 4 years.

*Edit they could also be hiding Biden because he will not recall that he dropped out of the race.

Its that weird moment when we know something is wrong and we're not being told what it is, but we don't know what it is. Whatever is going on, Joe Biden has 6 months left in his term and is not able to actively serve as president right now.

If Biden does appear, it will be interesting to see how they manage him no questions, no interviews, a literal leash on his neck when he is speaking.
They are basically at the point of being in a position where it is that Weekend At Bernies meme I guess.

Luckily there was only one person who tried to agree to a bet before the debate, and I didn't see his offer until after the debate. Which is kind of incredible... Trump has been the clear favorite for several months and only one person(who is some random) was smart enough to take me up on my bet. It showed a serious lack of confidence in Trump among Trump supporters.
