Anyway, my point is that there is no way for me to ascertain the truthfulness of either that poster's statement, or his grandpa's. It doesn't matter if what they say constitutes hearsay or not. What I know is that I have no way of knowing whether they are telling the truth. As such, I reject their claims as the basis for holocaust.

Then stop arguing minutia by defending your misuse of "hearsay" by just making up random definitions of perfectly acceptable alternatives.
