Let's not talk about trans people's bathroom usage rights or this thread would swell to 1000 pages, lol.
Anyway, I see your point. From the trans woman's and the HR's point of view, I do appear like I am harassing this coworker. But from my perspective, I am not. I don't think I am harassing anybody by calling a man, a man. So what it boils down to is this: I think trans women aren't women, but HR think they are. And neither of us can prove the other wrong.
You appear like you're harassing because you ARE harassing them. Again, you do not know they are a man. You do not have their medical records nor do you know what their genitals look like. It is not on the other person to prove you wrong. You are the one harassing them.

What I meant is that misgendering and transsexuality are recent developments. For the worse, I should add.
Neither of those are recent. They were threatened with death or being put in a mental asylum in the past. The first book burning Nazis did was literally a gender studies institute.
Not calling you a Nazi here, but I will point out, when you say things like "society is worse because trans people are now a thing", you are literally aligning yourself directly with the cultural aims of the actual German Nazis.
