Yeah, Germany is a freer country than the US, as are most Western countries. While that isn't the point he was trying to make, my own view is that things wouldn't really be different if holocaust denial was legal in Germany. It's not a big deal in terms of actual consequences, although from a moral standpoint I disagree with it.

just because you lack the intellectual honesty to acknowledge the difference between a law and "speech the government just doesn't like", that still does NOT prove your point.
