yeah I agree most aren't meaningful. It's more of a perception of anti-establishment populism by focusing on things like the 'trans agenda', or whatever the current buzz is, rather than effective strategies focusing on things like inflation, housing affordability, wages, depression and drug use, changing demographics and issues with growing anti-natalism tendencies, and other things I find important.

Yeah, but my guess is you were ready to call Romney an establishment shill, while his actual policy priorities are more meaningful in an anti-establishment populist sense than Josh Hawley or JD Vance.
