how strange. people vaguely want lower taxes when u spew unrealistic numbers at them but don't like losing things ones you actually budget out large chunks or entire programs...

I mean it's like being surprised when someone reacts unfavorably to "hey want to reduce your mortgage by 90%? cool just airbnb out all the rooms and live in the garage."

p.s. nearly 100% of the 25 worst states are majority Republican and nearly 100% of the 25 best are majority Democrat. Overall quality of life, low crime, longevity, education level, and basically everything good in life overwhelmingly correlates with Democrat-majority states.
