I don't know that there's a meaningful anti-establishment populist that exists in the Republican party. The most meaningful anti-establishment, populist action I can think of is Romney proposing a child allowance which provided a generous child allowance while reducing welfare programs to pay for it.
But if your idea of anti-establishment populism is stealing an election, or calling for eliminating the FBI, or highly regulating all social media, there are several to choose from. But it's a obviously dopey populism that doesn't even matter to the concerns of real people.
yeah I agree most aren't meaningful. It's more of a perception of anti-establishment populism by focusing on things like the 'trans agenda', or whatever the current buzz is, rather than effective strategies focusing on things like inflation, housing affordability, wages, depression and drug use, changing demographics and issues with growing anti-natalism tendencies, and other things I find important.
the 20 videos in a row of youtube grifters talking about the latest trans headline while completely ignoring what actually matters and in what ways the west is degrading, it's all so tiresome
