I've said this a month or two ago: Netanyahu has no interest in this war ever ending since he'll get booted from office as soon as the fighting wraps up. Likewise, his smaller, radical coalition partners presumably know that they're unlikely to get such a right-leaning parliament again anytime soon.

it seems the issue is now two-fold; the opposing party is accusing him of sabotaging peace talks to bring home the hostages and even now people in his own coalition are turning spies. the strikes in Iran didnt amount to much, the IDF has largely been thwarted in Lebanon, Hamas is still alive and there are still 100+(?) hostages and we're over a year into this...
I'd be shocked if he's still around 6 months from now

Yoav Gallant? Really? Terrible optics and he was a moderate, comparatively speaking.


Gallant said that he was being fired for three reasons. The first was his opposition to a "corrupt" bill being promoted by the prime minister to exempt haredim from IDF service

The second was a hostage deal, which Gallant said was "possible" albeit with "some painful compromises," but that the IDF would be able to cope with. Gallant added that abandoning the hostages would be a "mark of Cain" on Israeli society and that the remaining living hostages must be returned.

The third issue was Netanyahu’s unwillingness to form a National Commission of Inquiry for the events of October 7, which Gallant argued was necessary in order to enable the truth to "see the light of day."

CNN carefully ignores that Maccabi hooligans attacked Dutch citizens, tore down flags, chanted “no schools in Gaza because there are no children left” & “Let the IDF win to fuck the Arabs”.

What has happened is unacceptable and those responsible for violence should be brought to justice. Dutch govt is looking into it already (we have an extremely pro-Israel govt at the moment headed by Geert Wilders ):
