^^ If you need to arrest political opposition to win, you're not a good representation of your citizens. Ppl are diverse, and yes, they don't enjoy the freedoms we have. We were working towards them. Now we're regressing.
All hell broke loose in the middle east (Syria is at their border). And the situation isn't getting better with this referendum.
