Ya fair enough. I just want to make sure that uncle sam gets its dues in the upcoming strike on iran, as its gona do alot of heavy-lifting aswell. I hope you target their missile silos/bunkers cause the iranians are 100% gona:
1. Close the straight of hormuz
2. Target us bases in syria(again)
3. Sperg out and launch a ton of missles at israel
4. Target every us base in iraq
This strike may be the spark that finally engulfs the ME and finally drags uncle sam into another forever war in the desert. 10 stratotankers en route to the ME.. its going down
I think #1 is a key point.
In the past, the US Navy would have easily destroyed Iran's navy and all missile silos within range of the straight, thus clearing this crucial shipping lane within a few weeks. Global oil stockpiles would have sufficed to withstand 2-3 weeks of delayed oil shipments from the Gulf.
Since the West has been unable to get the Houthis and their drones under control, this calculus was thrown off. Until they find a way to reliably deal with an attacker spamming drones at their warships, the US Navy would have to keep a much bigger distance from the Iranian coast, or risk the loss of their multi-billion dollar vessels. This makes it a lot harder, if not even outright impossible, to break an Iranian blockade of the Straight of Hormuz. Which, in turn, means that a full-blown escalation with Iran would trigger a massive oil shortage and wreak havoc on the global economy. Furthermore, the inevitably soaring oil prices would fuel the coffers of Russia right at the time when the West is hoping that they're finally running out of steam, economically speaking.
