Triple flip flop today on NATO, federal hiring freeze and Janet Yellen.

How did he come up with "underperformed Trump's margin by 20.3 points"?

Hokey commentary besides that.
'if every district behaved like that democrats would win so much!!!11'

Plenty of reasons for the closer than usual contest in a special election. its not directly representative or proportional to what would happen elsewhere.

I'm not claiming that. Just pointing out that it wasn't as big a victory as the Trump crowd thinks.

The funniest thing is he states that NATO is "no longer" obsolete. I think he believes it was until he said it wasn't.

The GOP spent more in KS04 than the Democrats did.

Okay. I didn't claim otherwise.

Except nobody proclaimed that as a 'big victory' though. It was just another amusing example of media like huff post claiming premature victory only to eat crow.

Yep. obsolete when hes against it, just fine when he says so and can use it for his own warring purposes.

alternate theory:

He heard McCain say that anyone opposed to expanding NATO is a Russian agent, so now hes supporting it as a distraction.

Just a quick update guys:

NATO no longer obselete.
China no longer a currency manipulator.
China leveraging North Korea is much more complicated than a couple weeks ago.
Janet Yellen is apparently respected and liked by Trump.

As Trump approaches sane positions on some issues, will his cult begin to leave him?

That was a rhetorical question btw.

It's pretty pathetic that and took Trump this long to realize these problems can't be solved by Daddy bailing him out like the rest of his life. He's also insanely understaffed pretty much every agency because he won't let any appointments go through if they said anything negative about him on the campaign Trail. So as a result even Pruitt can't enact Trump's climate change policies.

I think the future is actually going to be pretty bright all things considered assuming climate change doesn't get exponentially worse.

China's younger generation is vastly different than that of their parents. Co-existence in Southeast Asia will be much more smooth. Tensions between South Korea/Japan/China will lessen. Asia and the western countries will have a stronger alliance. Maybe North Korea will fall and we will see a reunited Korea.

All the while NATO and the pacific/Asian countries all have shared interests meanwhile Russia is just left all alone drinking itself on its vodka supply.
