tbh this is what we have come to expect from ABC, who tried to pass off footage of a gun event in Kentucky as a battle in Syria.

that said, their cover-up of Epstein is despicable. probably even criminal. sounds like obstruction of justice
it's also election interference. actual interference. sitting on a story that would have painted a Clinton in a very negative light in 2016

clearly not as big of a bombshell as Trump telling people on a rally to buy his son's book.

yeah as if the media doesn't plug and stump for their favored politicians stuff all the time.
well yesterday Stelter or whatever his name is at cnn did a full segment on typos in Trump's tweets - clearly the sort of hard-hitting news that a chief media correspondent should be after. this whole Epstein thing hasn't hit their radar

“First I was told ‘Who is Jeffrey Epstein no one knows who that is, this is a stupid story,’” Robach said. “Then the palace found out that we had her whole allegations about Prince Andrew and threatened us in a million different ways. We were so afraid we wouldn’t be able to interview Kate and Will, that we, that also quashed the story

so not only does ABC try to play dumb when Robach initially wanted to report about Epstein, on top of that forces dispatched by the british royal palace got to determine what gets reported in America? ffs lmfao

weeeeell... ok, let's just for a moment theoretically assume that Prince Andrew did nothing wrong and was not involved in the Epstein scandals at all.
if the palace in this scenario hears that a mainstream american news station contemplates running such a story, it makes sense for them to tell them "if you publish such dirt on a member of the royal family, then it will be 'friendship ended' and we will no longer cooperate with you in any form."

now, this doesnt fit Robach's description that "the palace threatened us in a million different ways", but still... the palace stopping, or threatening to stop the cooperation with a broadcaster that publishes dirt on them is understandable and justifiable if you ask me.

TBH, the British royal family is at the top of my own suspect list for whomever had Epstein killed.

Say what you will about the French, at least they knew the departure from monarchy should come with the departure of the monarchy's heads.

the people "took control", left the monarchy the greatest land owners, let them keep the crown jewels, gave them all sorts of privileges in the govt they're not supposed to be a part of anymore, and worship them still as if they're anything other than professional stuck up douche bags.

in my head there's like a group of 10-15 people all in a groupchat just joking (and following through later) about who to kill. someone said "it's not the clintons, it's the people who run the clintons, and want you to think the clintons are powerful, that you'll never even hear their name." and i tend to agree with that.
