I guess we are all aware of the pollution generated when manufacturing a single computer or any related advanced material.

Gold is a real primary material, which can also used later for various but very necessary purposes.

What to think about those mining farms with 25000 antminers ? Imagine the pollution generated when manufacturing those.
How many antminers/specific units in the world ?

0.14% of the world's electricity production !?

Your gold&oil excuse is a lie, and you probably know it.

BTC and cryptocurrencies are becoming a new asset and a very good way to transfer a lot of value without having the intrusive and annoying banks in the middle. That by itself is very important, you have no idea how important. Maybe you dont move too much money and dont understand (Im not implying that Im rich, Im not, Im far from it right now, but I know the importance of it), but trust me, that by itself is very valuable like you have no idea.

You have to convert btc to dollars in order to pay income taxes. You also need dollars to pay state and local taxes.

The government is and always has been the biggest barrier between humankind and their destiny.

LOL the pollution generated from the BTC & crypto miners are minimal compared to pollution generated from cars, planes, factories, etc.

I just had a prophecy to a utopian future where we can pay with bitcoin to buy guns for protecting our marijuana fields.

Depends where you get your eletricity.

Here are gifted because we have huge hydroelectricity installations, but some lines have been placed because its over consumption and they pay their electricity hella fucking high that in the end it aint even worth it.

Mining in a country like the US that most use Coal to make electricity aint minimal pollution to me.

Still the amount of power used to mine BTC and cryptos AROUND THE WORLD is minimal compared to many other things. Minimal. So hating on cryptos using the environment excuse is actually lame. Its not like in all cities in the world EVERYONE has a mining farm and all power from all cities are being used to mine cryptos. Come on... the percentage of worldwide electric power used for cryptos is minuscule.

You can't compare mining btc's with other things...
power needed to create btc's is high...
