...his understanding of Christianity is in fact correct .

I find it comical that all Christians on this subforum are in consensus about what Christianity is and what it's not, but yeah the euphoric lads that get their theological knowledge from youtube know better

you can add this to the list of things that go over your head

your questions indicate you haven't understood anything of what i've said

Duff, you haven't made any real arguments. If you had any confidence in your points, you would restate them if I didn't understand them correctly. You would answer my questions. You would tell me why my questions don't make sense in response to your points. You bob and weave, saying "if you understood basic logic", which of course isn't an argument at all. You simply proclaim I am wrong, you are right, and I'm not understanding the points you are making.

So, feel free to engage in discussion, or keep playing the intellectual superiority game you've been losing for months. I'm fairly confident which path you will take.

Consensus?

Christians on this forum cannot agree or not whether the Bible is the direct word of God or not:

Diablokgb, Post #17: "Its all relative to the observer."

Santara, post #37: "People have different perspectives, and that does not mean that they are mutually exclusive."

IceMage, post #69: "I certainly do not view them as contradictions. I view them as differences which are resolved using a realistic mindset. It's absolute silliness, with knowledge of how the gospels were written, to expect these writers to be consistent in these secondary details."

TheSnipa, post #177: "I am a believer who is more than willing to accept their are contradictions in the holy text. How else do you think a book turns out after hundreds if not thousands of edits and translations into other languages?"

Valhalls_Sun, post #188: "Since when did I say that the gospels were all of God's word?"

Lol, are you just skipping my posts? Only 2/5 are Christians, and Santara never even talks about religion on this forum.

Diablo is a Muslim if i'm not mistaken and valhalls is either an atheist or agonostic

The rest of the quotes you posted have zero relevance to the point you are failing to make.

TheSnipa self-identifies as a Christian. Do you not count him?

Are you skipping my posts? Is self-identifying not enough?

Mormons think they are the true Christians. Proof? The Book of Mormon.

Protestants think they are the true Christians and Mormons aren't Christians. Proof? The Bible.

Who is right? Go!

...they will always major in the minors by arguing insignificant details while we know we are saved by grace through faith in the death , burial and resurrection of Jesus . The joy we have can only be felt by those who have come into grace .
