It's better than our pseudo, just for show, patriotism in the United States.

We have already seen what extreme German patriotism leads to.

I've heard they're really uncomfortable being nationalistic.

I mean, for a collectivist liberal type, voting for higher taxes on the wealthy is a virtuous way to show patriotism, but the majority of Americans aren't collectivist liberals.
