Over 74 million people voted for Trump in 2020. For the candidate of the Republican party. Do you think "virtually no"ne of them place great importance on norms (or laws)? Or are you already taking into account that the amount of his supporters may have shrunken during the last 2 years? If so, is whatever is left sufficient to win an election?

That's almost a quarter of the entire American population. A not so tiny fraction of them will care.

When you poll people if they think norms and laws are important and must be upheld, or even just ask them in an everyday conversation, then nearly 100% of them will answer yes. This does not mean that they actually vote or act on it. People are massive hypocrites. All of them.

You didn't read my post carefully enough btw. ;)
Virtually none of the voters who place great importance on norms will still support Trump.
Virtually no Trump supporters will care about abstract norm violations (where the actual substance of the accusation is unknown).

If it's SCI, that's a pretty strong indicator that if it was public, it would cause severe harm to America from a national security perspective. Is there a type of SCI content that would be considered "acceptable" to Trump voters vs. "unacceptable?"

No idea, probably not. But again: without knowing the concrete details, this kind of stuff just won't get people to question, let alone change, their opinion.

FBI just saved 200 trafficking victims 84 were children. Seems like a damn fine job to me. You won’t praise them for that because it goes against your narrative.

I never said the FBI are all evil.

You are free to believe in the intergrity of the feds, nobody is saying you can't. We are just saying that we have our own opinion of them, but for some reason this offends you in a personal way.

Yeah, silly me. I think I'll trust the one posted back in 2016, rather than the one that the DNC and Twitter has had 6 years to alter. :/

Are you denying that Hillary Clinton posted a DDay tweet?

No. I'm saying that just because someone posted a Twitter post that SAYS it's from 2016.... means nothing.

The pic I posted... WAS posted on JSP in 2016.

So it seems like that was a very very misleading picture then given that I gave you a direct link to Hillary's Twitter :)

ghot, or "everything that doesn't fit into my current narrative is probably made up / altered / not true" - even thing there's direct video evidence of, like brian kilmeade using a photoshopped picture to malign a judge...

Your post I quoted had the terms "crime" (= breaking the law), "norms" and "abstract norms" in it. Apparently referring to three different kinds of rules. Now where's the difference and what is it we're talking about here? Would you state that his supporters don't place importance on crime? Are we talking about potential crimes here?

And then you apparently draw a line between "importance" and "great importance" (which I actually quoted in my post) leaving the distinction to the rest of us.

It was a vague post, that's all I'm saying.

He didn't say that. He is just saying that it is possible that twitter or DNC could have altered it, given that these two organizations are not exactly known for their integrity.
