Drilling oil and mining Gold/Silver/etc are also, yet they are still being drilled and mined because they are valuable.

Anyway, BTC could change a bit in the future. There are other coins that are Proof of Stake, which is different from Proof of Work ("mining"), but I'm not gonna bother explaining this to you.

PS: If you keep your cryptos in cold storage, paper wallets or trezor/ledger nano, they are impossible to get hacked.

Then if we rebound at the new resistance 5.8k or before that (which is the point where you sell), then we might retest the lower price again and create a double bottom. So buy again at whatever the lowest value was before it got up to 5.8k.


If anyone here uses Bitmex: you can short* when it reaches 5.8k or near that value because it might go back down to retest the lowest point and then go long* when BTC reaches the previous low price. Anyway just wanted to add these 2 cents also.

Short* when you bid that it will go down.
Long* when you bid that it will go up.

I guess we are all aware of the pollution generated when manufacturing a single computer or any related advanced material.

Gold is a real primary material, which can also used later for various but very necessary purposes.

What to think about those mining farms with 25000 antminers ? Imagine the pollution generated when manufacturing those.
How many antminers/specific units in the world ?

I will quote/link this post of yours when BTC reaches 10k again, then when it reaches ATH (20k) and will continue quoting/linking this post of yours everytime BTC reaches 10k more (30k 40k 50k etc etc until 100k).
