well, while I think that NC should receive more funds to deal with the damage of the hurricane, we should be fair: NC has already received half a billion dollars form the government. they now requested an additional $900m, which the trump administration essentially rejected. for comparison, the entire housing and development department has a yearly budget of around $400m, for the whole nation.

so it seems like they requested an outstanding sum. I dont know if the hurricane damage in NC is indeed as outstanding and justifying this request, but at least the pic you linked makes it sound like the goverment has let NC deal with the issue entirely on its own, which simply isnt true.
