Also what would you think if Germany denies the Holocaust and the West helps them to deny the holocaust or play down all incidents.

I think there is a just way of conducting Imperialism and an unjust way. An example of unjust Imperialism is Germany in 1941: bow down or be slaughtered. An example of just Imperialism is Great Britain in many areas around the world: establish peaceful dialogue with native populations (using pidgin language to bridge the gap), engaging in mutually beneficial trade, establishing settlements (the dreaded "colonialism") & going from there, work on the civilizational development of the native peoples while respecting their religion and way of life as much as possible (this is where things get fuzzy).
