I think a big problem is that Israelis will not believe or trust the position that if only they completely exited Gaza, West Bank & other areas that then they would live in peace with their neighbours. Instead, they believe that the concession would be a display of weakness, emboldening their neighbours to keep raiding and slaughtering Israelis at the border, continuing to chip away at their territory, and continuing to demand Israel's complete destruction as a state. Which would happen in reality.. they say this themselves, "from the river to the sea", it's not like it's a mystery or a conspiracy theory

I'm a very strong opponent of moral relativism, there are things that are morally good and things that are morally bad objectively. A culture that revels in morally bad things is an evil culture that should rightfully and justly be destroyed. youre exactly right. its MUCH more complicated now since Israel has waged war against innocent people and radicalized even more against them. not only would Israelis not trust their neighbors, their neighbors would be even less likely to trust the Israelis. can you blame them?

I will say this, if you look at the region from a historical lense, Israel has carried out far more violence and destruction against Palestinians than Palestinians have against Israelis. theres ALWAYS been disproportionate violence coming from Israel
