The real problem is that Democrats don't live in reality. Democrats want to get rid of free speech by labeling speech they don't like as violent.

OF COURSE all while the same Democrats enable violence, lies, and riots in supreme hypocrisy.

Comments written by various psychiatrists, which are now violations of the "Goldwater Rule" put in place stating psychiatrists should not attempt to diagnose public figures they have not personally examined, and violating the rule can leave them open to charges of libel.
A few days ago, 35 such psychiatrists signed a letter making all sorts of libelous condemntations accusing trump of being mentally ill, and in their letter even acknowledged they were violating the goldwater rule, claiming they believe it deserved to be broken in this case.
They really deserve to lose their licenses for the ethics violation at a minimum

for what? selling out their professional ethics to join a hungry gossip mob?

it's completely irresponsible to get involved with politics and start diagnosing people without even being their medical professional and even if they were talking about it publicly is inappropriate

wrong doesn't become right just because Trump is the target

Tbh, by reading reactions it almost seems like hate mongering on a podium is allowed in America.

We've had jihadist imams banned and politicians fined for these type of speech.
Not sure what Endless' vision is about allowing jihadist imams to exercise their free speech ?

I'm seriously so sick of hearing about Trump already; he's a fringe candidate who stands no chance at getting the nomination. He's this year's Ron Paul (gets tons of attention on the internet but loses by a landslide).

LMAO! Who is this stupid random?

Are they outright diagnosing him or just saying his behaviour is indicative of a mentally ill person?

I think the latter is reasonable and have no problem articulating that myself.

A professional analysis should only be given after having a patient in a dialog to diagnose any behaviors.
Since Trump is not seeing an expert personally, this diagnosis cannot be made.

Precisely, which is why I said saying his behaviour is indicative of a mentally ill person is not a diagnosis and, in my view, within the legal and ethical boundaries of a medical expert.

I'm not sure what the source is that Goom was pulling from so I don't know

to me there is a very fine line given that they are medical professionals and their opinions hold more weight

"I'm not saying Trump has X but in my professional opinion he acts like he has X"

I don't think discussing an individual publicly is appropriate when it comes to mental health especially when they are just going off the showboating of a showboat

Legal and ethical boundaries would involve patient privacy protection as well ;)

doesn't mean that their opinions could not be correct, it's just not very professional to make these statements as a psychologist.

/e:
I do understand the reason why they do it though. Psychologists understand better than most ppl what kind of person Trump is.
They just want to protect their country.
