And before that , the Turks and Ottomans were in full control of it.

So British won the Turks, and they own that land, they gave it to the Jews (They might argue they fought for it but ...nah...) and now the Jews own it. So they do whatever they please.
It is not the Jews fault, the land belongs to them now.

The state of England was also founded on the Angles and Saxons (Germans) driving out the Celts (native Britons).
