In the extreme, if I post "gonna go shoot some rioters" and then go to a riot that's in progress, and shoot people while claiming self defense, then I will be charged with murder and convicted.

The reason is pretty simple. I am not acting in self defense if I am actively putting myself in danger.

Kyle was associated with extremists who were posting about killing rioters. If history started 5 minutes before Kyle pulled the trigger then you would be right. It's a slam dunk self defense case. But it didn't.

Man you guys are really bad at reading. I said he wasn't invited, not that he didn't attend. You realize you can attend without being invited right?

I also didn't say that Kyle said that. I said he was associating with people who said that.


Dude, if you just stopped being so triggered and read the words on the page we wouldn't have these disagreements.
