So the democracy wants to stoke a war in order to stop a dictatorship from threatening the peace?
Again, Russia's record of warmongering is a drop in the bucket compared to ours. And here we are, trying to fan the flames in Ukraine
The US has been stubbornly pursuing the goal of worsening the conflict at every step without being willing to commit our own direct force. Not just sabotaging the peace deals, we keep the escalations going every opportunity we get. Its a straight replay of the plan in Syria, and look how well that worked out for us.
There was nothing to sabotage. Russia never seriously considered peace as an option and it would never stop terrorizing europe(unless forced to). Long term goal was always to restore its influence in ex Soviet union areas. Dictators like putin are predictable in that sense. I mean hes not even particularly hiding it.
I am not sure how situation in syria is related or why would you compare it, thats a complete mess. A country with hereditary system in the 20th century with multiple parties in a literal civil war.
In ukraine a finally somewhat democratic and independent country is being attacked by a crazy world leader dictator with made up reasons to justify his claim.
How are these even comperable to you ?
