Perhaps the USA didnt during the "pandemic" Canada sure did and if we want to go down this road there was plenty of things you had to carry around a QR code showing proof of vaccination to actually do.

Of which you do not need to do with a flu shot. Don't play stupid and try to compare the outrage of the COVID vaccine to the lack of one for flu shots.

Okay, so you can fly in America without a COVID vaccine? You just made that fact up? Why would you do that? If COVID restrictions were/are so bad why would you have to make stuff up?

Were certain employers requiring covid vaccination in America, yes. Did many stores and services require proof of vaccination, yes, the list goes on and on.

Sure maybe I was mistaken with flights because Im Canadian and it was enforced here, as well as when flying into the USA we have to provide proof of vaccination.

Regardless, it's you that looks the fool if you compare the lack of outrage around voluntary flu shots vs locking down peoples lives because they dont get a COVID vaccination.

I dunno, seems to me that making up a fact about non-vaccinated Americans not being able to fly is foolish. You could've pointed to other legitimate examples of vaccine denialism affecting the lives of American vaccine denialists but you chose one that was false.

I can admit I made a mistake, you would never admit your comment was moronic.

Well, now that I've rubbed your nose in that lie, I'll say that companies requiring employees or customers to be vaccinated against a novel virus that is worse than the flu is not a great example of tyranny. COVID killed more than a million Americans. I understand that people like yourself don't care about that number, and those mostly old/sick people were going to die someday anyway, but reasonable people think differently.

Let's also consider that the military and schools(pre-K to university) have always required vaccines. The outrage over that pre-COVID was basically a far-left fringe phenomenon, but the Trumpists brought the fringe into the mainstream.

Rubbed my nose, lol. Friend this isn't Reddit, we aren't Karma farming here.

My goodness, you have no idea of my own opinions, if you had read any posts throughout the pandemic you would know I supported both masks and lockdowns at the time.

We're talking about people who are outraged over the COVID vaccine and you made a comment about how they're not outraged over the flu shot. To these people there is a clear difference between restrictions that were imposed unless vaccinated compared to the restrictions you have around a flu, and because those are the individuals we are discussing your comment was to be nice, fucking dumb.

Yes, the satisfaction of pointing out your lie does not benefit me in upvotes or karma.

I responded to a post saying "needs another booster", as if booster vaccine shots were some new phenomenon, and not obviously existent in society today, as the flu shot is. Maybe you're unaware, but in right-wing nutter territory, that's a talking point against the COVID vaccine. The fact that one shot doesn't work forever. So his response, and my reply to him, is completely unrelated to how you responded. I think you missed the point, which is fine, not everyone keeps up with the right-wing nutter talking points like I do.

So this whole weighing restrictions business is not even related to how the discussion started. And I'll give you the last word on this, unless your reply compels me to respond.
