The leader of the PPC couldn't even win his own riding. The attract radical and very lost young males looking for something to cling to and draw focus away from their own shortcomings. It's never you if you can blame everything else around you.

^18nomaUSEast probably lives closest to his riding and has to hear about him the most.

Lol I live ~1.5 hour away from Max Bernier’s house. He used to be somewhat normal but he’s been off the tracks since he lost the CPC leadership race in ‘17. He’s somewhat entertaining in his slow descent to madness though.

Florida was an absolute bloodbath. Note that DeSantis and Rubio have huge leads while most of the population centers have reported a large share of their votes while the rural and gigaconservative panhandle has barely reported any votes yet. At this rate, DeSantis looks at a winning margin above 15%!

We should, however, not get carried away. In 2018, Florida was a bright spot for Republicans too, but ultimately ended up being one of the few bright spots in an otherwise lousy year for them. So we imho can't conclude just yet from the fact that the GOP candidates were slaying in FL that it's gonna be a huge red wave elsewhere.

Do these past few elections potentially move FL from a swing state to a red state?

I don't understand why people have such dim view of Max. He's fighting the covid insanity plus a whole bunch of other stuff. He promises to lower the number of immigrants per year, he speaks out about kids being subjected to transsexual brainwashing...he's a good guy fighting for regular Canadians. I really think you guys should sign up for his emails/newsletters and hear straight from the horse's mouth. He fights for what he believes in and is honest about what he wants done.

He's exceptional as far as Canadian politicians go.
