I agree. Donald Trump is not anti-semitic. He seems to really like his Jewish son in law.

But what he did was embolden xenophobia in general, not specifically embolden anti-semitism. People who are xenophobic don't really segregate those things in their mind. They see Trump attacking Mexicans by calling them rapists and dog-whistling to the KKK by pretending not to know David Duke and refusing to walk back his "both sides" comments during Charlottesville for several days and they assume he also secretly hates whatever they hate.
