building a house vs renovating is two different things. civil engineers are involved in the process - to which i said i am not an engineer. there is no human who knows everything they need to at one particular moment in time.

Yes, but if you -had- basic knowledge of trig and the other high school mathematics you just 'forgot' (idiot) - then you would be able to do most of the renovations yourself, instead of being Dom'd by the construction expert coming into your house with his burly beard and brawny muscles in view of your wife.

i dont think most general contractors who do renovations (i know quite a few who do great jobs and are up to code) have ever used trig or the quoted math you keep saying is easy for anyone to remember in their 10+ years of experience.

i have done my own renovations and have never needed to use a polinomial equation to figure out anything i wanted to do.

there is a different story when constructing a building from scratch, which involves specialized engineers. am i going to feel bad about not knowing what is involved in that? nope. easy example, look how mad you got when i asked you what to me was a basic finance question. you are such a poor idiot its so sad.
