i agree with you that political correctness should not be a forefront of politics, however, when a group of people (mainly repubs) introduce legislation to restrict their rights, reduce their access to healthcare or help in general, yeah, id feel obligated to step up and tell even my best friend to fuck off if i had to.

the current republicans may be more "conservative" than the current democratic party, but they are not true conservatives. they are trump shills. Their 2020 platform was whatever trump wanted. THat is not and has never been a conservative value.

Can we agree on the fact every political party sucks? They all have people who really want changes but mostly filled with corrupt scumbags.

The problem ain't the spectrum. The problem is the bigger picture which is: them first, the corporations first, their pockets first then MAYBE the people.

It's not a problem of skin color, gender or anything of that sort, it's the fact that every single politicians is easily manipulated because there's group of people who can do really really really bad things to people who say no and there's NOBODY powerful enough to say NO to these groups of people.

So at the end of the day, you have more chance of succeeding by helping your fellow neighbor, the homeless in your town and making sure your town as a whole head in the right direction.

You can't change your whole country by yourself but you can surely make life a better place to be for the people around you.
