ive always been envious of good local beer.

where i have been since the shutdowns started has a bunch of local breweries. all not bad at all, some actually pretty damn good and they all have decent enough food (one spot has the best fucking tater tots which im a sucker for when i do eat badly). two within walking distance. im in heaven despite all the bullshit this year gave us

once u ditch big label beer its surprising how many decent breweries are in ur area no matter where u are really.

im blessed that i get to do measurements, installs, or both on like 4-5 breweries per year. somehow it seems my knee always hurts that week and i just cant drive there, and especially cant drive back. odd, crazy stuff.

i have been at one spot enough times to buddy buddy with one of the partners. got to taste test one of their new batches because they’re starting on stouts and im a big stout guy. i have a healthy level of envy towards these bastards and their careers lol

most that ive met say beer tastes like water lmao, now thats privilege. and thats why they drink stanky IPAs

IPAs are great when done right, but unfortunately are overrated "hops for hops' sake" most of the time.

I'm more of an imperial stout man myself. BLM and all that.



I tend to agree. If I'm having an IPA, I prefer a pine taste.
