the noose having some functionality doesnt debunk it being potentially racist, nor does the fact that it's a noose prove it is racist.
i mean, im being as loose as i can here. saying we'll never know, saying i dont think it was an attack on Bubba specifically, etc. we just have very few facts, and we're not likely to get more facts, so we're discussing the few things we have. i dont really understand why you're taking such a hard stance, oh wait nvm you're clearly addled by anything you label as snowflake behavior and then you draw a line in the sand. the world isnt binary, some times people overreact and it turns out to be not as bad as they first thought, but still you can take away some things from it.
when you have 1600 garage stalls and 1 has a noose and that 1 noose happens to be in the garage of a driver who is half black and has been the target of online scrutiny for his "i cant breathe" shirt and a BLM sticker on his car, it does read as a bit too convenient to just be happenstance. the fact that it was likely happenstance, BUT that online people were racist towards him before the FBI released their report is a takeaway.

"Although the noose is now known to have been in garage number 4 in 2019, nobody could have known Mr. Wallace would be assigned to garage number 4 last week," the FBI concluded.
So literally there was no way to know who's going to be placed in that garage. I'm not sure but i'm assuming the garages are given based on where you're qualifying based on race results throughout the year.
So we must have some big brain racist that used his crystal ball to figure out where Bubba will qualify and placed a noose on the garage pull handle in October 2019 to troll him. Before all of these BLM protests, before he put BLM on his car, almost 9 months prior this racist knew how June 2020 will turn out, makes total sense.

This is actually pretty simple the other way: you have to go out of your way and make extra effort to make a pull handle look like a noose. It can't NOT be intentional. Maybe it wasn't targeted, sure. But it sure as hell was put there by a moron all the same. This can't be stressed enough: you don't use fucking nooses as decorations.
People do a lot of dumb shit when they are bored. What i think happened here which makes the most sense is some crew member was probably bored not doing anything productive and just did it almost a year ago. Most people walked by it and maybe noticed it and said 'huh' and didn't spend more than 3 seconds thinking about it.
Fast forward to June 2020, where there is racism everywhere, a time when everyone is super sensitive you end up with some overzealous crew members that are so convinced racism is everywhere that the noose pull handle triggers them.
