Honestly I'd have no problem with it as long as users could globally opt-out of the quarantine warning messages and shadow-banning system.
Creating a second class form of speech is one of the corrosive elements that allows the erosion of free expression.
You can't force all the people who disagree with to wear a placard on their chest that denounces them as a heretic and charlatan before they're allowed to express their opinions.
And it just gives them a way to keep chipping away at the speech they want to censor without provoking the backlash of outright banning.
Firm protections of speech along an absolutist ground gives rise to a stark contrast of the window between the permissible and impermissible- child porn for example. And its hard to shift that window side to side
But a sliding scale of censorship allows for slowly shifting the boundaries and eroding the protected speech. One day you say holocaust denial is quarantined and fat hate is banned, then you say anti-immigration arguments are quarantined and holocause denial banned
So they've created their orwellian system where nobody is allowed to be exposed to the conflicting opinions of holocaust denial without reading through a warning like its a pack of cigarettes that says "The holocaust is real, a gorillion people died and everyone in this sub is wrong and heres a link if you wish to 'escape hate groups'". Its as utterly contemptuous as it is dogmatic. And frankly, I've never known anyone to be swayed by having opinions shoved down their throat aggressively. The easiest way to see that holocaust deniers are loons is to let them talk and to listen to them.
