Paul Ryan became Speaker of the House weeks after fiscal year 2015 ended with a deficit of $439 billion.

Trump OMB deficit projection this year: $890 billion.

Next year: $1,085 billion.

i spent half a dozen posts in a response to a direct question from you, and then i responded to your false claims after that first response.
you didn't like those i guess.

so i'll come down to your level for 1 post.
how many presidential elections did she win? derppp

She came pretty damn close to winning one despite being exposed for criminality DAYS before the election.
About a million Republicans voted for Roy Moore after he was exposed as a kiddie fiddler also..
The people are morons.
A Harvard study found America to be an oligarchy already.

My very first post to you was in that context.
So doesn't matter if it is a million.

how the hell are you going to wait 5+ pages to respond to someone specific. "Ghot". after 5+ pages of you quoting me, you quote me again, and then say it's not in response to me.
then you say your response was in the context of what the last 5 pages of you quoting me.

ya it makes a difference. you are pretty much saying you ignored Ghot for pages and tried to sneak a response in later, but addressed to a different person.
how much derpp

I don't think he would stand a chance in his own party with all of the sexual abuse allegations. The GOP would go with someone else. This isn't a Roy Moore situation - they have other options.

^looks like paul ryan whipped those dumb tea party 2.0 members into shape.

Yeah, they backed down pretty quick. I have little doubt Rosenstein wasn't properly responding to Congressional subpoenas. But I also have little doubt that the information Jordan/Meadows wanted was to help them undermine the investigation.

Ultimately, they just didn't have enough internal party support to pursue this impeachment. Most House Republicans probably didn't want to put their name behind something most of the American public would probably see as baseless.

I think this is part of the purpose of this whole talk about impeachment: to send a thinly veiled threat to Rosenstein and Mueller: "dont go too far, dont give us a proper base for action, or we'll show you the door".
as I said: it's a move to rein in the Mueller investigation at least somewhat.

I think it was more of a contempt thing. Republicans wanted to show they are for real about wanting the DoJ to comply with their subpoenas. Apparently the DoJ is taking their sweet time with some of the Congressional document requests.
