Admission of guilt is always a lovely thing to have when you're putting together a massive list of crimes committed by the president-elect or those in service to him/her. Today brought more:
https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/trump-foundation-apparently-admits-to-violating-ban-on-self-dealing-new-filing-to-irs-shows/2016/11/22/893f6508-b0a9-11e6-8616-52b15787add0_story.htmlTrump's fake charity admitted via their overdue 2015 tax documents what informed people knew to be true long ago: it had broken the law not merely once (illegal political donation, #1 on the list) but
at least twice. They've now formally copped to violating the IRS' rule on self-dealing (#17). Unfortunately they're not responding to any questions so we have to wait to find out the scope of the illegality.
Maybe the most interesting question for Trump will be how was he able to overlook such violations in prior years only to admit them now, since that looks a lot like concealment given the relevant timeline. I'm sure it's just another grand coincidence, just as the timing was on the Trump University lawsuit(s) that Trump claimed he'd never settle (and in fact repeatedly argued that, because he'd never settle, that was all the evidence voters needed in order to determine that Trump University had done no wrong).
This will be a fun administration to track.
