It was also thousands dead, not tens. It was on our own soil, a place I could drive 10 hours to see. Familiarity tends to coincide with emotional attachment(in mentally-healthy human beings, anyway).

on topic, kerosine (jet fuel) burns at around 1100 deg C, steel construction on WTT melts at over 1500 deg C, therefore it is not possible to melt down steel structure by crashing planes into it.

somwhere between 1million and 3million civilians have been murdered in the middle east as a result of 9/11. It was a good day to start dropping bombs with no goal in mind.
