Lol, I can have so much fun with this one.

Your "right" to a welfare check violates my property rights by funding it. Why should I suffer for YOUR benefit?

Well cause I have no money and I need it to survive...

Why should my HEALTH suffer for your PLEASURE?

Pleasure and Benefit's are two different things

Edit: SIR

Free will?

I can not do things I want to, that are perfectly legal and allowed for me to do, because I do not wish to harm my body by breathing in second hand smoke.

I can not go to a bar and have a good time with friends because of second hand smoke.

I can not walk down a city block because of second hand smoke.

I can not go to work because of second hand smoke.

This all affects my free will and it violates my rights that you are smoking in public.

You are commiting a hazardous act by releasing 4000 chemicals into the air which i breathe.

Sidestream second hand smoke is even worse then smoking cause theres no filter.

If i wanted to smoke, then I would...
I dont need to do it cause you are doing it too.

Free will that you strip from the bar owner.

Choice on your part due to your preferences of risk, that you deny to others.

Choice on your part due to your preferences of risk, that you deny to others.

You CAN'T? Choice on your part due to your preferences of risk, that you deny to others.

You CAN'T? Choice on your part due to your preferences of risk, that you deny to others.

Again, what right of yours is being violated?

Like I said previously, you do not have a right to a risk free life.

The proper response would be that my rights are balanced against yours, and appropriate actions are taken by government to maintain the most equitable balance.

The treatment of private property owners and their rights compared to the minor risks posed by SHS aren't equitably balanced, their skew entirely in favor of the bitches and complainers at the expense of true rights, not perceived rights.

Women drivers are more dangerous than cigarette smoke, lets ban those first.

I gotta go work. No ciggy breaks for me, but then again, I don't smoke, so I can be more productive.

So you basically would want people to move out of their homes, where they grew up, because you cant smoke in your own home?
Because you want to smoke on the streets, and in public, your telling other people to move away from you?

Theres a reason why its being prohibited in many places now...

No. I'm saying you should apply some consistency to your arguments.

I am making the argument that your aversion to smoking is rooted in your perception of morality. You don't seem the slightest bit uncomfortable with telling 46million people how and when they can smoke; and you do so in the name of having clean air to breath.

So, if you were to be consistent in your views, you need to justify how people can drive cars, which are infinitely more damaging to the quality of the air we breath, as is any factory or other necessity of an industrialized society. You don't seem too concerned with those pieces of society that damage the air your breath.

If you truly want high quality air, if that is what you desire, you should probably consider moving away from industrialized society. You can't tell people to not smoke and be completely hypocritical in your views while you drive around in a car. You are being very selective in what bothers you and what does not. And I think you are being very inconsistent in your views here. It is quite obvious to me that you have a moral objection to people smoking, and saying it is bad for the air you breath is a very insincere and superficial argument.

~~

Again, you have no right to live in the city of your dreams. If you don't like to be around smokers, then don't stand next to them. Or simply exhale when you see smoke coming at you. It's really not that difficult. But you seem to have no problem telling millions of smokers that they can't smoke simply because you have a preference. It's nothing more than your preference. And because we live in a democratic society, you feel there is nothing wrong with voting these people out of society. Well that is fucked up. And you're a piece of shit for being so oblivious to the needs and wants of other people. So what if smokers want to smoke inside of a restaurant, you don't have to eat there. And you can tell managers of all your favorite restaurants that you will not eat there if they allow smoking. You can do this things without forcing the government to ban smoking for everyone. You can find a peaceful solution to these problems. Or you can deal with it and come to grips that you can't oblige people to accommodate YOU, and ONLY YOU. Fucking cunt.

I dont really smoke, was just hinting out that I dont really care about the subject.

Im writing a paper on why cigerette smoking should NOT be prohibited, and i needed to argue the facts against you to get some ideas...

If i simply asked for it, you would all say NO DO UR OWN HW.
