Iran presented many reasons to be attacked. Their own internal humanitarian crisis. Unwillingness to yield to nuclear pressure. Unloaded their missiles into Israel very recently in probably the largest test of Iron Dome and Israel mitigation measures. Interfering with global martime trade and infrastructure. Undermining economical sanction against a segment of countries. Being an immutable enemy of an immutable ally.

While I pipe dream about American isolationism, the reality is our society is globally bound at the moment. Iran stacked it's variables in the worst way.
