Spending all your time in circlejerk echo chambers like reddit really does a number on one's cognitive reasoning skills. Seems like people get comfortable just making statements and having people agree with them, not based on evidence, truth, or merit, but rather on having similar goals/beliefs.
This is why the left can't meme. Their sense of humor isn't actually funny, it is based on conforming and agreeing with each other, and ridiculing those who do not as 'others'. Falling lockstep into line and all that, with a proud self pat on the back for knowing the proper lines to say and ideas to believe.
AI will have no problem replacing people like this.
Having an intellectual discussion is one thing. However, some people here regurgitate every little small thing that you can also hear on Russian TV. Some people here are collecting a 100% perfect score of claiming all of the following:
- accuse Zelensky of being a dictator
- accuse USA of orchestrating the 2013 Euromaidan and giving the guns to insurgents
- accuse the West of supporting Ukrainian Azov groups since at least 2013
- accuse Ukraine of being completely infiltrated and under Nazi control
- fully justify Russia's right to claim Ukraine for themselves
- accuse the West of moral rot
- repeatedly bring up old griefs like Bandera
I could keep going..
Some people are definitely here to express their balanced anti-war sentiment, like
But some people here are getting a 100% perfect score on the "Putin-friendly" benchmark. This doesn't look like independent thinking to me.
