Multiple people on this very forum are so nazified that they are racist against any white that isn't the right white to them. There's alot of racism in the black community in the United States where kids get picked on just for being a lighter color black than some others. Japan kind of hates Korea and vice versa. Many many more examples, could fill many pages

It's almost as if there are multiple types of identity-based hate and racism is just one of them.

It’s somewhat irrelevant what the Bloc wants because they cannot hold any power, as they only have candidates in Quebec. The real purpose of the party is to prevent a majority government in Ottawa.

They want Quebec to be exempt from the Multiculturalism Act, but aren’t opposed entirely to immigration, so long as it’s francophone and it espouses Quebec values. Aside from that point, they aren’t conservative in the slightest, it’s a pro-LGBT, pro-abortion, pro-assisted suicide, pro-environment, anti-guns party. The party’s economic views are meaningless as they focus solely on benefiting Quebec and the party would cease to exist the day Quebec sovereignty happens (big if).

Well, how many countries of origin fit that description? De facto, this means that they should theoretically be against nearly all the immigration which Canada is seeing recently.

They’re on no one’s side but Quebec (e/ for clarity’s sake, they oppose all other parties on the basis that Quebec shouldn’t be part of Canada). They end up being opposed a lot to what federal governments propose. Realistically the CPC is looking at a majority government, unless something major happens that would rile up Quebecers to vote for the Bloc.



They don’t have a say in the matter. Quebec does get francophone immigration, mostly from France, the Maghreb, Haiti and some West-african countries. The part about adhering to social values of Quebec is not a federal matter, so again it doesn’t matter what the Bloc wants. The provincial government requires a positive result to a values test and that’s about it. Integration is working better than in other provinces though from what I’ve witnessed.
