You have to separate the issues.

1) Did Russia have aims to puppet all of Ukraine in February 2022? --> Yes.
2) Does Ukraine have to accept that Crimea didn't want to be severed from Russia as a result of a West Ukrainian Maidan? --> Yes.

You don't have to like Russia to agree that Crimea is Russian. You don't have to like Russia to agree that the Donbass did not want to be a part of a EU-aligned Ukraine. The time for Ukraine to let go was a year ago when they held leverage. Now Ukrainian statehood itself is threatened.

Crimea might now be "Russian" because Russia deliberately made demographic changes to it. Some might call it ethnic restructuring, some might call it worse. However, it was Ukrainian before Russia illegally invaded it, and Putin himself had previously affirmed that in multiple treaties. Those are easily verifiable facts by the way, and it makes it difficult to take positions seriously who just ignore that, even though you seem to be the most honest amongst the obviously pro Russian posters here.

I have no problem believing that the majority of Donbass' population would have preferred to be aligned with Russia rather than the west. Even without the rigged referendums. That does, however, not mean they automatically become independent entities, that's just absurd. No one argued that regions who wanted to be aligned with the west during the decades of Russia-aligned administrations denying their citizens trade and prosperity were therefore independent regions either. It's a silly argument ignoring the basic principles of democratic nations.

There would have been a legitimate way to go about it, IF the support for Russian statehood - which is a different thing from being Russia aligned - had been big enough. But sending unmarked troops, occupying government facilities and eventually invading those regions was not it. That completely de-legitimized any claims Russia or those regions had.

I already did, post #102. Which is still waiting for your response. But you are too busy being owned by Bobb, so I guess I will be waiting for a while.

Can you prove that they aren't debating in good faith? And can you prove that they are just posting talking points? It really sounds like any time someone says something you can't refute, you fall back on these tired old accusations.

You have watched Russian state run media? Really? Didn't know you spoke Russian.

I never once said you are spreading American propaganda. Sounds like you have a guilty conscience.

You keep accusing Bobb of furthering Russian propaganda, I can't change your mind. But I can honestly tell you from what I have observed of him, he is giving an objective appraisal of the situation without looking through the lens of the Western news media. But it seems to me like anybody who doesn't violently denounce Russia as evil, you automatically think they are spreading pro-Russia propaganda. You really don't notice this about yourself?

Rich that you mention "witch hunt". You are the one who's been accusing everybody of being someone.

Lol, this.

And the fact he used the word "multi" just proves that he's been here before. On most other forums, they use the term "sock puppet account". Only people on JSP say "multi".

I am shocked that you seem to think Russia's rationales and official stances have never been translated into French or English. Or maybe you just don't know how to make a coherent argument and common sense deductions. Anyway, you're clearly not worth my time seeing how you struggle with even the basics of political debate. Take care, and stop being so sad. I will leave you alone from now on since you clearly take things very personally, and I don't want to further upset you. My apologies.

1. Russia has no treaties with the current Ukraine. The Ukraine they agreed to treaties with was conquered by a Nazi-backed and West-backed faction. The treaties the prior Ukraine took part in are null and void.

2. Stating ethnic restructuring is hilarious. Honestly so. Asov has been committing ethnic genocide AGAINST ethnic Russians in Crimea and the Republics. There are FEWER ethnic Russians in Donbas then there were in 2014. What a joke.

3. Ukraine is not a democratic nation. They have a government that conquered the old government and have been using military force to attempt to conquer those regions that refused to submit to their rebel government.

See, this is why it's so important to get both sides of the story when it comes to international relations. When you wander in knowing nothing but what the warhawks tell you, you naturally promote the wars that the warhawks are seeking. It's pretty pathetic.

If it's been translated into French or English, then it's second-hand news. It's news that's filtered through the lens of Western media.

When you say things like "Russian state run media", it implies it's news that's straight from the horse' mouth, which necessarily means that it's in Russian.

You want an out since you can't deal with my posts. Which is fine by me, Bobb and others can own you much better than I can, anyway.

Anyway, you're clearly not worth my time

You tell yourself what you have to, buddy. In reality, you have proven in several posts that you lack basic debate principles, critical and logical thinking, as well as simple deduction skills. Which is totally fine of course, it just makes taking you seriously a waste of time, no offense.

Translation: wah wah, I can't counter Jessiwan's arguments so I say she's not worth my time. If I try really hard to belittle her, it will make everybody think that I wasn't completely stomped on, right? Right?

Not sure what you are saying. Assuming that you didn't simply google some type of English to Russian translator, what are you trying to tell me? That you speak Russian? But you just basically said you watched Russian's state news in English/French. Please try and keep track of your lies.

2) systematic rape, torture and deporting children in occupied regions.
