First of all, nobody was executed. Yes someone did die, however it was due to an arrest gone wrong. The marine dude probably did not have any intention of killing the homeless man. Also, it's not just "past" violence. The threat was present. The marine wasn't thinking, "this person had been violent in the past so I better subdue him". He subdued him because he was making threats currently.

Everyone who thinks this guy is a hero is beyond crazy. While that homeless dude probably needed to be handcuffed and arrested, no one has the right to kill anyone in that situation. There is absolutely no excuse for this.

I have more common sense than you, apparently. Literally every witness is on the side of Penny. You don’t know what they saw because the media lied to you and continues to lie about this situation or just stopped talking about it the second the witnesses reached out to say they thought they may die and the dude saved their lives.

The police didn’t charge him until AOC came out and said how racist the guy was without knowing any single fact about the situation (sound familiar?). Yes, the police came on scene, found a dead body and the testimonial of all the terrified people saying the guy was likely to murder one of them, and the police said, “good job buddy” and everybody lived happily ever after. Until of course nut jobs like you took to the internet to lobby for the arrest of this obvious day to day hero.

Oh, I mean the guy was just a Michael Jackson impersonator and did nothing wrong never, noooo way! The racist white guy saw a black guy and fucking attacked!!!!!

Nobody believe you are that opinionated on this but didn’t even know the guy was black. That is the only reason this was a national headline. If I remember correctly, “White man strangles Michael Jackson impersonator to death on NYC subway.”

Mind you the headlines came out after local nyc politicians riled up crowds to riot in favor of the crazed drug addict. The guy was dead for days before anybody realized they could relight the flame of the now unpopular race wars.

I read about this a few hours ago right in this thread and commented. Never heard of the case ever before.

Again, I dont care what the hobo said or which color his skin had. All I know is that some dude killed him. And that is not a reason to call that dude a hero.

I think it is absolutely sick how people react to shit like that. A normal reaction that normal people should have to this is sadness. Its sad that this happened. Nothing is heroic about this.

People are fanatic these days - in all directions. Left, right, people are dumb as fuck and exaggerated emotions is all they offer. No common sense, no humanity, just stupid fights about whos right.

People are calling him a hero because if he didn't subdue the crazy homeless person, maybe innocent people would have died. Unfortunately the arrest resulted in the crazy person's death but this was likely unintentional. We are not cheering the death, either.

It should matter what he said. He very clearly made a threat about killing people. People were justified in reacting to this threat.
