The entire trail/press/media coverage/jury is all of course in a conspiracy to keep the white man down..
These oppressed cousin fuckers having a hard time coping.

They didn't get into the truck with a gun after they saw Arbery. They were already in the truck and already had a gun before they saw him. You make it sound like they were out hunting down black people when the fact is they were simply patrolling the neighborhood trying to keep it safe.

The decision of a court can be wrong. So I wouldn't rely on it like it's the last word.

And it does matter what the McMichaels thought at the time. If they could successfully prove that they really thought Arbery was a thief, then this would clear them of the murder charge. They would still be in jail, but for lesser charges.

I'm making a joke about the hillbillys fantasy arrest scenario not the exact recap of the case. That's already been done and the verdict already known.
