If Trump wins a second term, I can't imagine the damage it might do to conservative Christianity. In an effort to counter the far-left secularists, these people made a deal with the devil. Their credibility on the political stage hangs by a thread.

Some nobody on a d2jsp sub forum assesses the credibility and judges Christians. Rich.

If you didn't have your head so far up your ass, you'd objectively see that Trump actually has done a lot for social conservatism, relatively speaking.

I know you care more about optics but here are some tangible examples on why some Christians support him.

The third link is just the WaPo front page.

Yeah, a Faustian bargain isn't making a deal with the devil for nothing. You receive something, and lose your soul. Christian leaders like Robert Jeffress and Franklin Graham have sacrificed their credibility and authority on moral issues because they think it's worth it in order to get conservative judges and an administration more friendly to Christians.

What has Trump done that he couldnt have done except by torching optics? Optics matter in politics.

it's called pragmatism.

It makes sense for Christian leaders to support the lesser of two evils. One side wants late term abortions and for the taxpayer to subsidize these abortions. Naturally Christians will lean to the other side. Just because Trump is a sinner and has done shit in his life doesn't mean Christians need to diametrically oppose him. Can you point to a single politician that's a saint?

Guess what if the choice is between a whoremongerer and someone who's policy will snuff the lives of tens of thousands of babies, that's a real easy choice for me to make. Should be for any Christian that thinks critically.

but that wasn't the choice. The choice was between a whoremonger and 15 other people with similar policy goals.

That's the thing about democracies. There's hundreds of millions of other voices and i can't speak and decide for a group. If i spoke or decided for all Christians in America i wouldn't have chosen Trump but after he got chosen it's time to be pragmatic.

its a riot cuz that nobody user spam votes for unmitigated abortion-loving candidates, worships the 2016 (D) candidate like a wierdo (see his sig and the images he reposts here), and works for planned parenthood.

then he has the gall question anyone’s faith and to say anyone else makes some “deal with the devil” (a blasphemous offense given his own behavior)

that is what happens to one who is afflicted with gluttony, envy, and unchecked TDS like icepeon is
