There are a pile of cases that are waiting for the SC to reconvene so the lower court judges that brought them can be told where to "get off".
Until Kavanaugh gets seated the SC is 4-4 left vs. right. Those lower court judges will be very happy to get deadlocks or even better not get their cases over-ruled.
This is why Kavanaugh needs to be seated by Oct 1st.

That lower court judge in Ariz. and the 2500 illegals separated from their (possibly) kids, ruled they had to be reunited by Tuesday. That ruling came on the previous Thursday or Friday.
US Govt. said we can't do it that fast, DNA tests etc. That same judge ruled skip the DNA tests.

She should be out of a job. W/o DNA tests, you might as well just say here adult pick a kid... poof they're your kid now. The illogic of that ruling is insane.
There are many other ridiculous rulings by lower courts, left leaning ofc, that need to be overruled.

That's the main reason.



/e Hell, even before what's his face retired the SC was over-ruling just about every ruling by the lower courts, cause they were insane.

It's because not allowing all the appropriate parties to testify and get the information out there is shitty policy. The GOP will confirm Kavanaugh regardless, they mine as well go about this right way and not let Democrats score political points before the upcoming elections.
