Its not specifically targeted to those 3 people.

They are illegitimately co-opting "science" to push a very unscientific political agenda.

This is a guy who has said hes open to jailing dissenters and just got mad that CNN would dare to have an actual scientist who disagrees with him on a panel.
He had a very condescending and extremely fallacious abortion-related video and pretended his leftist views are science and so obviously beneath what we should be talking about.

A lot of these people aren't about actual science. They are about forcing a leftist agenda down our throats under the guise of science. They pretend you are anti-science, evil or ignorant if you disagree with them.
This was much of the same crew that was involved in the "women's" march.

Believing something broad to be true or highly likely does not mean that it necessarily is true and shouldn't be challenged, and it does not mean there isn't a lot of nuance and related information that still needs to be figured out or discussed.
Nor does it mean that dissent should be criminalized. Real science doesn't dictate political policies.
This extends well beyond climate change.

i'm pretty sure "they" don't pretend you are "evil or ignorant" if you disagree with them, but if you intentionally try to mislead the public by acting like it's not a widely accepted FACT that man made climate change is real, like it's just up to interpretation or not true at all.

also, i'm curious what "leftist agenda" you fear they are "forcing down our throats".

iirc you still take the side of cigarette companies and the scientists they've funded when it comes to the topic of whether or not smoking causes cancer right? personally i'd have them jailed in this day and age along with people who know better but deliberately mislead the public by peddling what they know to be pseudoscientific nonsense on the grounds of treason against your own species - i'd also jail anyone that actually tries to get kids to "learn" that the earth is 10,000 years old to give you an idea of my extremes

i don't know much about bill nye's abortion stuff but i do not share your outrage over the topic of jailing deceitful charlatans who mislead the public
