We obviously can't know for certain how the election would've gone, but I think it's very likely (90%+ certainty) that had Clinton's emails not been leaked, she would've won, considering it was the single biggest talking point and factor in the election and the election was extremely close. Russia selectively hacked Clinton emails and not Trump emails for their own country's benefit (likely with cooperation from the Trump campaign), directly affected the outcome of the election, and therefore, in all likelihood, chose our president while also damaging trust in our electoral system. This is the most concerning thing that's happened to US elections in recent history, maybe ever.
by the same logic, I could say that trump would have won the election bigtime if the access hollywood tapes hadnt been released. or that clinton would have won without comey. or that clinton would have won had she been more aggressive during the 2nd presidential debate and dealt the killing blow to trump. or that she would have won if she had campaigned more in wisconsin and michigan.
the election was close enough that 6 or 10 different things could be considered the deciding factor. selectively picking the one thing that wasnt clintons fault, while ignoring the 5 or 9 other mistakes that were clintons fault, is ridiculous. if democrats keep playing this blame game and refuse to acknowledge their own, very severe mistakes and shortcomings, they set themselves up for more disappointment in the upcoming elections.
