people were criticing hrc for that were they not? that election was a battle of two turds and i can understand being forced to vote between terrible candidates - we do it all the time here in canada
i've yet to hear anything terrible about jones by comparison

its almost like there is some kind of media bias at work here.
Doug jones is actively trying to become a politician to suppress freedom of association and implement a variety of other authoritarian measures
but hey he must be a good guy because he prosecuted some bad guys.. as if that isnt a layup that should be expected of anyone in his shoes

the obsession over who accused who of playing touch butt in the park while free passes are given out to warmongers and authoritarians irks me.
we're talking about giving serious power to these people.

i know a bunch of users here (mostly lefties) frequent breitbart but its not the only source in the world

as far as i can tell the source is breitbart originally. then people took up the torch by reporting "forgery".

The source of "forgery" wasn't. at all.

Quote

(breitbart reporting on ABC news interview)

“Beverly, he signed your yearbook,” ABC News reporter Tom Llamas says.

“He did sign it,” she replies.

“And you made some notes underneath.”

“Yes,” Nelson says.

And then, after a woman admits to forging a document used in a campaign to destroy the Republican nominee for the U.S. Senate in Alabama, ABC News quickly moves on as though it is not news of extraordinary consequence.

This isn't a nuanced situation, it's a hack piece with a soft target for the alt right base for a cause they're willing to suspend belief for at the drop of a hat.

she presented his signature and that he wrote the "notes" in her year book as evidence.....

from her original statement...

About a month later, I received my yearbook from Southside High School, where I had spent my freshman and sophomore years. I happened to bring my yearbook to work with me to the restaurant on December the 22, 1977. I put it down at the end of the counter. Mr. Moore happened to notice it and asked me if he could write in my yearbook, and I felt flattered. And I said “yes”. He wrote in my yearbook as follows: ‘To a sweeter, more beautiful girl I could not say Merry Christmas. Christmas 1977. Love, Roy Moore, Olde Hickory House. And it signed it, ‘Roy Moore DA.’"

and now we know that wasnt the case.....people want it independently verified, yet allred (ha) has been stonewalling it...... and people are wondering why

how is some alabama news site linking an abc interview and tweeting 'she (the accuser) indicates that she added the date/location to the yearbook' - which was confirmed in the abc interview - "breitbart"?

@bolded that doesnt seem accurate at all, from your source:

This doesn’t mean that the rest of Nelson’s story about being sexually assaulted is false,or that she “forged” the signature, as some outlets are reporting. But it does mean that her initial press conference misrepresented some of the information:

what she presented as his signature hasn't changed based on what she said, she added a further note with the date and location. at most its a verbal slip up that he included the "olde Hickory House".

u got links? if a small time AL news source was the first to run the tinfoil i'd still be that Breitbart took it national, if not predated the AL story altogether.
